Job descriptionWe are seeking a reliable and experienced 5-Ton Truck Driver to transport goods safely and efficiently to various destinations. The ideal candidate must have a valid driver's license, knowledge of road safety regulations, and experience operating medium-duty trucks. The driver will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the truck in good working condition and adhering to company policies. Operate and drive a 5-ton truck to transport goods and materials Ensure proper loading and unloading of cargo to prevent damage Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Maintain a clean and safe vehicle at all times Plan routes and meet delivery schedules Follow all traffic laws and safety procedures Monitor vehicle performance and report any faults or required maintenance Maintain accurate logbooks, delivery notes, and other required documentation Assist warehouse staff when necessary Ensure customer satisfaction through timely and professional service. Minimum SSCE / High School Certificate Valid driver's license (appropriate category for truck class) Proven experience driving 5-ton trucks or similar vehicles Good knowledge of road networks and safety regulations Strong attention to detail and high sense of responsibility Physically fit and able to lift / load goods when required Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work under minimal supervision. Basic mechanical knowledge Experience with GPS and route planning applications.
