Avant Tech is seeking a motivated and organized Office Assistant for one of our clients in the IT sector. In this role, you will be responsible for providing administrative support, ensuring smooth office operations, and helping maintain effective communication both internally and externally.
Key Responsibilities :
- Answer phones, direct calls, and take messages when necessary.
- Assist with scheduling appointments and managing calendars for team members.
- Prepare and organize documentation, reports, and presentations as needed.
- Maintain office supplies inventory and order new supplies when necessary.
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records in electronic filing systems.
- Assist in coordinating meetings, including preparing agendas and taking minutes.
- Greet visitors and provide a positive first impression of the company.
- Support various administrative tasks including mail distribution and shipping.
Requirements
National Diploma or equivalent required; additional qualifications in office administration are a plus.Proven experience as an office assistant or in another administrative role.Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a busy environment.Familiarity with office equipment such as printers, scanners, and fax machines.Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.Benefits
