Location : Hybrid (2 days in-office, 3 days remote) Abeokuta

Employment Type : Full-Time

About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Executive Assistant with a strong background in bookkeeping and accounting. This hybrid role combines administrative support with financial management responsibilities, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations for leadership while maintaining accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities

Executive Support :

  • Manage calendars, appointments, and scheduling for senior leadership.
  • Coordinate meetings (virtual and in-person), prepare agendas, and record minutes.
  • Handle correspondence, emails, and calls with discretion and professionalism.
  • Assist with travel planning, itineraries, and logistics.

Bookkeeping & Accounting :

  • Maintain accurate financial records, invoices, and expense reports.
  • Support accounts payable / receivable and reconciliations.
  • Assist in budget preparation, cash flow tracking, and financial reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with company financial policies and procedures.
  • Office & Operations Support :

  • Organize and maintain digital and physical files.
  • Support HR-related tasks such as onboarding and maintaining employee records.
  • Assist with project coordination and follow-up on deliverables.
  • Provide general administrative support to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Qualifications & Skills

  • Proven experience as an Executive Assistant, Administrative Assistant, or similar role.
  • Strong bookkeeping / accounting experience (QuickBooks, Xero, or similar software preferred).
  • Excellent organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to work independently with discretion and confidentiality.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field (preferred).
