Job Summary :
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Human Resource Officer to join our team in Asaba. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing various HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and compliance with labor laws.
Key Responsibilities :
Recruitment & Onboarding :
Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates.
Coordinate and conduct interviews, and manage the onboarding process for new hires.
Employee Relations :
Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns and inquiries.
Foster a positive work environment through effective communication and conflict resolution.
Performance Management :
Implement performance appraisal systems.
Provide guidance to managers and employees on performance-related matters.
Policy Implementation & Compliance :
Ensure adherence to company policies and Nigerian labor laws.
Update HR policies as needed to reflect changes in legislation or company direction.
Training & Development :
Identify training needs and coordinate relevant programs.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives.
HR Administration :
Maintain accurate employee records.
Manage HR documentation and reporting.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum of 2 years of HR experience, preferably within [specify industry if applicable].
Strong understanding of Nigerian labor laws and HR best practices.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Membership or certification from HR professional bodies (e.g., CIPM) is an advantage.
