Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Electrical Technical Instructor to join our team at the Dangote Cement Plc. The Ideal candidate will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality technical education and vocational training to our students / trainees, equipping them with the necessary skills and knowledge in electrical technology in line with the approved national occupational standard by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE). This in-person position requires a hands-on approach to teaching and a commitment to student success.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Assist in the development and delivery of curriculum for electrical technology courses, ensuring alignment with approved curriculum / standardsProvide hands-on instruction in labs and classrooms, fostering a practical learning environmentSupport students in understanding complex electrical concepts, troubleshooting techniques, and safety protocolsEvaluate student progress through assessments and provide constructive feedback to enhance learning outcomesCollaborate with other faculty members to ensure continuous research work and adopt the use of cohesive educational experience across all training programsParticipate in departmental meetings and contribute to program development initiativesManagement of training tools and laboratory equipment and updating of the Dangote Academy workshop inventory list for both tools and consumables.Implementation of other related tasks as may be assigned by the Centre manager or other superior persons.Requirements
Bachelor's degree / HND or it's equivalent in Electrical / Electronic Engineering from reputable Institution.Minimum of Three (3) years of field experience in Electrical system handling, plus any additional experience in mentoring, teaching or tutoring.Strong understanding of electrical principles, systems, and safety standards and use of equipmentExcellent communication and interpersonal skills
