Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts based on business and technical requirements.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing.
• Identify, document, and track software defects through to resolution.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, Product Managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and testing needs.
• Validate software functionality, usability, reliability, and performance against defined requirements.
• Participate in the review of business and technical requirements to identify potential quality issues early in the development lifecycle.
• Re-test resolved defects and conduct regression testing to ensure fixes do not introduce new issues.
• Maintain accurate test documentation, test results, and defect reports.
• Support testing activities throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes, standards, and methodologies.
• Provide clear and timely feedback on testing outcomes, risks, and identified issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in software testing or quality assurance, preferably in a financial services, fintech, banking, payments, or related technology environment.
• Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and SDLC processes.
• Hands-on experience with functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
• Ability to create detailed test cases, test scenarios, and test reports.
• Experience using defect tracking and test management tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Good understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Added Advantages

• Experience in Quality Assurance (QA) processes and practices.
• Knowledge or hands-on experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
• Experience with performance, load, or stress testing.
• Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman or similar platforms.
• Basic knowledge of SQL/database testing.
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems.
• Relevant professional certifications such as ISTQB.
