Salary: ₦150,000 per month
Working Days: Monday – Friday
Working Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Reports To: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

JOB SUMMARY

The Quality Control Officer is responsible for ensuring that products, materials, and processes meet established quality standards and company requirements. The role involves inspecting products, identifying defects, maintaining accurate quality records, managing team members, and working with relevant teams to resolve quality issues.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Inspect raw materials, products, and finished goods to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Conduct quality checks and tests according to established procedures.
• Identify, document, and report defects, non-conformities, and quality issues.
• Investigate the causes of quality problems and assist in implementing corrective actions.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and packaging of products.
• Monitor compliance with quality control procedures and standards.
• Manage and coordinate assigned team members.
• Ensure team members follow established quality procedures.
• Maintain accurate quality control records and documentation.
• Prepare regular quality control reports for management.
• Report quality concerns and significant findings directly to the CEO.
• Follow company policies, procedures, and applicable quality standards.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of Diploma, OND, HND, or Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
• Good knowledge of quality control procedures and inspection techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
• Basic computer skills, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to use inventory software.
• Ability to maintain accurate documentation and records.
• Previous experience in quality control, production, inventory, or a related role is an advantage.
