Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will (but is not limited to):
- Develop and execute the company’s commercial and sales strategy to drive revenue growth and achieve agreed business targets.
- Take ownership of sales targets and develop practical strategies for acquiring and retaining B2B customers.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities among corporate clients, fleet operators, businesses, fuel consumers, and other relevant customer segments.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers to drive customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth.
- Serve as the primary company representative during customer presentations, commercial meetings, negotiations, business pitches, and strategic engagements.
- Present the company’s fuel technology, digital fuel voucher solutions, fuel delivery services, and other offerings clearly to prospective and existing customers.
- Lead the sales process from lead generation and qualification through proposal development, negotiation, conversion, and account management.
- Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline, ensuring that opportunities are properly tracked and progressed towards closure.
- Prepare and review commercial proposals, quotations, presentations, and other sales materials in line with approved company pricing and commercial policies.
- Develop and manage key customer accounts, identifying opportunities to increase usage, revenue, and long-term customer value.
- Identify potential corporate partnerships and strategic business relationships that can support the growth and market penetration of QuickFuel’s services.
- Work closely with the Managing Director, Operations, Technology, and other relevant teams to ensure that customer requirements are properly understood and commercially viable solutions are delivered.
- Provide coaching, direction, and support to the Sales Engineer and other sales personnel to improve sales performance and customer engagement.
- Monitor customer feedback, market developments, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities within the fuel technology, energy, and mobility sectors.
- Prepare regular sales reports, pipeline updates, revenue forecasts, and performance analyses for management review.
- Analyse sales performance against targets and implement appropriate actions to address gaps and improve revenue generation.
- Support the development of pricing and commercial strategies that balance customer value, market competitiveness, and company profitability.
- Represent the company at relevant industry events, client meetings, networking sessions, and business development activities.
- Maintain accurate records of prospects, customer interactions, sales activities, proposals, and business opportunities.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve the company’s sales process, customer acquisition strategy, and overall commercial performance.
Requirement
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline from a recognized institution.
- 7–10 years of relevant B2B sales experience, preferably within the energy, fuel, oil & gas, mobility, industrial technology, or related sectors.
- Proven experience in business development, sales strategy, key account management, and revenue generation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Proven experience in B2B business development, sales strategy, key account management, and revenue generation, with a track record of converting opportunities into sustainable business.
- Experience selling products, services, technology, or technical solutions to corporate clients, with the ability to build and maintain long-term customer and business relationships.
- Strong understanding of the fuel, energy, mobility, and technology sectors, with the ability to understand and effectively communicate relevant products, services, processes, and solutions.
- Strong sales pipeline management skills, including lead generation, opportunity tracking, proposal development, conversion, and accurate sales forecasting.
- Excellent presentation, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong commercial acumen, with an understanding of pricing, customer acquisition, value proposition, revenue generation, and commercial decision-making.
- Demonstrated leadership and coaching ability, with experience supervising, coordinating, or developing sales team members to improve performance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess sales performance, market trends, customer needs, and business challenges and develop practical solutions.
- Strategic and customer-focused approach, with the ability to identify market opportunities, understand customer requirements, and translate them into commercially viable initiatives.
- Strong results orientation, with the ability to take ownership of sales objectives, monitor performance against targets, and implement strategies to achieve agreed commercial goals.
