Report To: Operations Manager/Site Supervisor

Salary: N350,000

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will (but is not limited to):

Supervise or execute fuel pipework interface to the dispensing island.
Connect product lines and vapour recovery systems in accordance with approved drawings and specifications.
Install, route, align, joint, and fit fuel and related pipework.
Perform pressure testing, leak testing, flushing, and inspection of pipework as required.
Identify and rectify leaks, faulty connections, alignment issues, and other piping defects.
Coordinate with the station MEP contractor to ensure proper integration of fuel piping with other mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
Interpret and work from technical drawings, piping layouts, specifications, and installation plans.
Support testing, commissioning, and handover of fuel piping systems.
Report technical challenges, defects, material requirements, and safety concerns to the Operations Manager/Site Supervisor.
Maintain accurate records of pipework installation, testing, modifications, and inspection activities.
Document and update pipework as-built information to reflect the final installation.
Ensure proper use, handling, and maintenance of tools, equipment, fittings, and materials.
Work collaboratively with other technicians, contractors, and site personnel to ensure timely completion of projects.
Perform other related duties as assigned by the Operations Manager/Site Supervisor.

Requirement

Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field. OND, Technical Diploma, equivalent qualification in Plumbing, Pipe Fitting,
3–5 years of relevant experience in piping, plumbing, pipe fitting, or industrial fluid systems.
Practical experience in fuel piping, petroleum product lines, vapour recovery systems, or related systems is required.
Experience working with MEP contractors and on-site construction or engineering teams is an advantage.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, piping layouts, and specifications.
