Job Summary

We are seeking a Female proactive and detail-oriented Part-Time GRC & Compliance Associate to support our Governance, Risk and Compliance activities. The role will involve assisting with compliance monitoring, documentation review, stakeholder engagement, information verification, and other GRC-related activities.

The ideal candidate should be organised, comfortable engaging with external stakeholders, attentive to detail, and capable of managing multiple assignments while meeting defined timelines and targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the execution of GRC and compliance-related activities across assigned projects.
• Engage with clients and other stakeholders through calls, emails, and other approved communication channels to obtain required information and documentation.
• Review and validate submitted information and supporting documents for completeness, accuracy, and consistency.
• Follow up on outstanding compliance requirements and maintain accurate records of engagements and status updates.
• Assist with compliance assessments, monitoring activities, data verification, and documentation reviews.
• Maintain and update compliance trackers, registers, and project documentation.
• Support the preparation of periodic compliance status reports and management updates.
• Identify gaps, discrepancies, or outstanding requirements and escalate them appropriately.
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure sensitive business and customer information is handled appropriately.
• Support other GRC, risk, compliance, and assurance activities as assigned.

Requirements

• B.Sc./HND in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in compliance, risk management, audit, banking operations, customer service, KYC/AML, or a related field is an advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good attention to detail and strong documentation skills.
• Ability to communicate confidently with clients and other stakeholders.
• Strong follow-up and organisational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Professional, discreet, proactive, and target-oriented.
