• We are seeking responsible, safety-conscious, and experienced Drivers to provide reliable transportation services for staff, visitors, and organizational activities. The successful candidates will be responsible for operating assigned vehicles, ensuring passenger safety, conducting routine vehicle inspections, maintaining vehicle cleanliness, and supporting the efficient movement of personnel and materials while complying with all traffic regulations and organizational policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely transport staff, visitors, and organizational materials to designated locations.
• Operate assigned vehicles in compliance with all traffic laws, safety regulations, and organizational policies.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and ensure vehicles are roadworthy before use.
• Maintain the cleanliness, security, and proper condition of assigned vehicles.
• Monitor fuel, oil, and other vehicle maintenance requirements and report any defects promptly.
• Keep accurate records of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance activities.
• Ensure timely renewal and availability of all vehicle documents, permits, and insurance records.
• Assist with the loading, unloading, and safe transportation of materials and equipment when required.
• Report accidents, breakdowns, incidents, or traffic violations promptly and cooperate with relevant authorities as necessary.

Requirements:

• Minimum of SSCE/WAEC Certificate.
• Valid Nigerian Driver's Licence
• Minimum of 5 years driving experience, preferably with reputable organizations.
• Demonstrable experience in driving Toyota Hilux, Toyota Hiace, or similar vehicles.
• Good knowledge of road networks within Kano State and across Nigeria.
• Sound understanding of vehicle maintenance and ability to carry out routine vehicle checks.
• Clean driving record with no history of serious traffic offences.
• Ability to maintain vehicle logbooks and comply with organizational transport policies.
• Possession of a Defensive Driving Certificate from a recognized training institution will be an added advantage.
• Demonstrable knowledge of defensive driving principles and road safety practices.
• Must be responsible, trustworthy, disciplined, and safety conscious.
