Location: Apata/ Ibadan, Oyo

Job Description

• Teach Robotics, Coding, ICT, Innovation and Creative Technology to students across relevant secondary-school levels.
• Develop practical, engaging and age-appropriate lessons that promote creativity, problem-solving and computational thinking.
• Plan and supervise hands-on projects involving robotics, electronics, programming, automation and other emerging technologies.
• Introduce students to coding, programming logic, digital tools, AI concepts and technology-based innovation.
• Organise robotics, coding, ICT and innovation clubs, competitions and project exhibitions.
• Guide students in designing and developing technology-based solutions to real-life problems.
• Integrate technology into classroom teaching and support other teachers in effective use of digital learning tools.
• Maintain and manage robotics kits, computers, software, electronic components and other ICT/innovation resources.
• Assess students' practical and theoretical performance and maintain accurate academic records.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and modern approaches to STEM, robotics, AI and digital education.
• Promote a culture of creativity, experimentation, teamwork and responsible use of technology.
• Perform other relevant academic and ICT-related duties assigned by the school management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree/HND in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, Robotics, Mechatronics, STEM Education or a related field.
• 4–7 years relevant teaching/work experience in Robotics, ICT, Coding, STEM, Innovation or related technology education.
• Must be resident in Ibadan or willing to work and live within Ibadan/close to Ibadan.
• Strong practical knowledge of Robotics, Coding, Programming and ICT.
• Experience with platforms/tools such as Arduino, microcontrollers, Scratch, Python, web technologies or similar robotics/coding platforms is an advantage.
• Ability to design and deliver practical technology projects for students.
• Strong communication, classroom-management and interpersonal skills.
• Creative, innovative, resourceful and passionate about technology education.
• Ability to work effectively with students, teachers and school management.
• Candidates with experience in robotics competitions, STEM projects, AI education or technology clubs will have an added advantage.
• Must be willing to participate in school activities, clubs, competitions and extracurricular programmes.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• A technology-oriented educator who can move beyond theoretical ICT teaching and help students build, code, create, innovate and solve real-world problems using technology.
