The Logistics Manager oversees the planning, coordination, and execution of supply chain and distribution operations. This role ensures timely delivery of goods, efficient inventory management, and cost‑effective logistics solutions while maintaining compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

Supply Chain Management

• Plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation, and customer services.
• Optimize supply chain processes to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with procurement and production teams to align logistics with business needs.

Transportation & Distribution

• Supervise fleet operations and delivery schedules.
• Ensure timely dispatch and distribution of goods.
• Negotiate contracts with transport providers.

Inventory & Warehouse Oversight

• Monitor stock levels and ensure accurate inventory records.
• Implement warehouse best practices for storage and handling.
• Coordinate audits and cycle counts to prevent discrepancies.

Team Leadership

• Lead and train logistics staff to achieve performance targets.
• Assign tasks, monitor progress, and evaluate team performance.
• Promote adherence to safety and compliance standards.

Reporting & Compliance

• Prepare logistics performance reports for management.
• Ensure compliance with local and international shipping regulations.
• Implement health, safety, and environmental policies.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 4–7 years’ experience in logistics or supply chain management.
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems and logistics software.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to manage budgets and negotiate contracts.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
