Role Description

• This is a full-time, on-site role based in Lagos State, Nigeria for Private Banking & HNI Relationship Managers. The role involves managing and growing relationships with high-net-worth individuals (HNIs) and private banking clients, including understanding their financial goals and providing tailored banking and investment solutions. Responsibilities include proactive client engagement, portfolio review and optimization, cross-selling suitable bank products, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery. The role also requires monitoring market trends, identifying new business opportunities, preparing proposals and reports, and maintaining high standards of compliance and risk management. Relationship Managers are expected to deliver exceptional client experiences, contribute to revenue growth, and uphold the bank’s values in every interaction.

Qualifications

• Strong Business Relationship Management skills, including client acquisition, retention, and stakeholder engagement.
• Proficiency in Financial Planning to assess client needs, set goals, and design comprehensive wealth and banking solutions.
• Experience in Portfolio Management with the ability to monitor, rebalance, and optimize client portfolios for risk and return.
• Solid understanding of Finance and Investments, including banking products, capital markets, and wealth management strategies.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; advanced certifications (e.g., CFA, CFP) are an advantage.
• Proven experience in private banking, wealth management, or HNI relationship management within financial services.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with a strong customer focus and ethical mindset.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet targets, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
