Teach the school's mandatory Entrepreneurship & Business Studies strand, equipping every student to turn her trade skill into a livelihood — how to start, run, and grow a small business honestly and profitably.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach practical business studies to all students: costing and pricing, record-keeping, basic bookkeeping, savings, budgeting, and profit
• Teach entrepreneurship hands-on: identifying opportunities, starting small, marketing and selling, customer care, and growing a business step by step
• Anchor lessons in the students' real trades (fashion, catering, cosmetology, soap-making, handicrafts, farm produce) — including live projects where students cost, price, and sell what they make
• Cover money wisdom: honest dealing, avoiding debt traps, saving culture, and basic banking (opening and using an account, mobile money)
• Prepare schemes of work, lesson plans, practical exercises, and termly assessments
• Uphold the school's Catholic ethos and standards of conduct
• Real small-business or enterprise experience strongly preferred — candidates who have run, advised, or financed small businesses will have a clear advantage
• Minimum 2 years' teaching or training experience, preferably with young people or adult learners
• Practical, engaging teaching style: candidates will be assessed on a live teaching demonstration, not certificates alone
• Patient and able to teach students with little formal schooling
• Female candidates preferred, given the residential setting; alignment with the school's Catholic ethos is essential

Sessional engagement, 1–2 days per week, starting January 2027. Probationary period applies.
