• Clinix Healthcare is seeking a skilled, accurate, and experienced Histopathology Scientist to join our laboratory team at the Ilupeju Branch.
• The successful candidate will support high-quality histopathology diagnostics through tissue processing, microtomy, staining, and efficient handling of large sample volumes.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform tissue processing, embedding, microtomy, and staining of histopathology samples.
• Handle and process a large volume of samples accurately and efficiently.
• Prepare high-quality slides for reporting by pathologists.
• Maintain strict adherence to standard operating procedures, quality control, and quality assurance standards.
• Operate, clean, and maintain histopathology equipment.
• Ensure proper sample identification, documentation, and record-keeping.
• Comply with laboratory safety, infection control, and biohazard waste management protocols.
• Support internal quality processes and contribute to timely turnaround of results.
• Collaborate with pathologists and other laboratory staff to ensure excellent diagnostic service delivery.

Requirements & Skills

• Current hands-on experience on a Histopathology bench.
• Strong practical knowledge of tissue processing, microtomy, and staining.
• Ability to work with a large number of sample sizes while maintaining accuracy.
• High level of attention to detail, precision, and technical competence.
• Good organizational skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Strong commitment to quality, confidentiality, and professional ethics.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a laboratory team.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science (BMLS) from a recognized institution.
• Valid and current practicing license from the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN).
• Must currently be working on a Histopathology bench.
• Proven knowledge and experience in tissue processing, microtomy, and staining.
• Completed NYSC.
• Proximity to Ilupeju is an added advantage.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: ₦4,500,000 – ₦5,500,000 per annum (gross)
