What You’ll Do
Inventory & Store Management
- Plan, monitor, and control engineering spare parts inventory.
- Ensure proper inspection of incoming goods for quality and quantity.
- Maintain an organized store layout in line with good housekeeping standards.
- Ensure all materials are properly labelled and stored in designated locations.
- Implement and maintain an effective bin system in line with company procedures.
- Enforce the FIFO (First-In-First-Out) principle for all material movements.
- Analyse stock discrepancies and recommend improvements.
Quality, Food Safety & Compliance
- Maintain store facilities to prevent contamination risks.
- Report any Food Safety Management System (FSMS) issues.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Live and promote company values and Code of Business Conduct.
Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)
- Comply with all company safety policies and procedures.
- Identify and report potential safety hazards.
- Participate in safety trainings and meetings.
- Ensure loss prevention and asset protection.
Customer & Stakeholder Support
- Provide accurate information on spare parts availability.
- Support Maintenance, Production, and Quality teams with timely material supply.
- Build strong working relationships with internal users and external suppliers.
- Handle internal customer inquiries professionally.
Supplier & Vendor Coordination
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for timely deliveries.
- Follow up on outstanding orders and resolve supply issues.
What We’re Looking For
Qualifications
- Minimum of BSc or HND or its equivalent in Engineering or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in warehouse or inventory management preferably in an FMCG environment.
- Prior supervisory experience in a technical store or similar setting.
Core Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and procedures.
- Proficiency in computer usage and MS Office tools.
- Experience using ERP systems such as SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, or MS-NAV.
- Basic data processing and analytical skills.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
