• We are seeking an experienced Start-Up Specialist II to support the safe, efficient, and timely execution of project start-up activities.
• The successful candidate will provide strong technical expertise within a designated discipline, including Rotating Machinery, Electrical, Process, Instrumentation, or Document Control Services (DCS), while working closely with the Project Team, Affiliate Operations, and Contractors.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Start-Up Coordinator and Start-Up Manager in ensuring OE/IIF expectations are achieved.
• Support the development and execution of the project Start-Up Plan.
• Provide discipline/unit-specific expertise during planning and start-up activities.
• Interface with Operations, Integrated Commissioning, and Facility Engineering Teams to ensure safe and effective execution of start-up activities.
• Develop and execute downstream start-up procedures for the safe and efficient start-up of integrated project assets.
• Support the achievement of project priorities relating to Safety, Quality, and Schedule.
• Apply detailed knowledge of operating facilities and applicable processes to identify and manage operational risks.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a closely related start-up or commissioning position.
• Relevant discipline-specific certification(s) or equivalent professional experience.
• Proficiency in Work Management Systems.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly describe field conditions and recommend appropriate remediation.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, including the ability to work effectively with individuals across teams and functions without direct authority.
• Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and changing priorities.
• Knowledge of Project Completions activities and standard commissioning practices.
• Familiarity with Systems Completion Database software such as WinPCS, MC+, CoConsole, or Orbit.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
