Job Description

Reports to: The Distribution Manager

Role summary: The Retail Manager is responsible for driving growth within the company's retail sales channel by developing and implementing effective sales strategies, strengthening relationships with dealers and retailers, and ensuring product availability in the market. The role supports revenue growth, market penetration, and the achievement of the company's commercial objectives.

General Responsibilities:

• Develop and increase sales and business opportunities for Sika Nigeria
• Develop and execute retail sales strategies to achieve sales targets and business objectives.
• Drive revenue growth and expand market share through effective management of retail channels.
• Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with dealers, retailers, distributors, and other channel partners.
• Ensure optimal product availability, visibility, and distribution across retail outlets.
• Collaborate with Marketing to execute promotional campaigns, merchandising activities, and trade marketing initiatives.
• Work closely with Technical, Customer Service, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to ensure seamless customer support and service delivery.
• Conduct regular market visits to monitor retail activities, identify opportunities, and address challenges.
• Analyze sales data and market performance to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
• Monitor customer satisfaction and implement initiatives to strengthen customer loyalty and retention.
• Support team goals and actions for delivery of targets

Qualifications

• 5+ years working experience in related field
• HND/BSc in Engineering/Environmental Sciences or related field
• Professional Certification (COREN)
• Hands on experience of the construction industry and built-up environment
• ERP experience in CRM & Sales Force
• Knowledge of Micro & Macro Economic metrics
