The Executive Assistant to the CEO will provide strategic and high-level executive support to the Chief Executive Officer. The successful candidate will act as a key coordination point between the CEO and internal and external stakeholders, ensuring that the CEO’s time, priorities, communications and engagements are managed efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the CEO’s complex calendar, meetings, appointments and engagements.
- Coordinate executive meetings and prepare agendas, briefing materials and presentations.
- Manage correspondence and communications on behalf of the CEO as appropriate.
- Prepare reports, presentations, proposals and other executive-level documents.
- Attend meetings with or on behalf of the CEO, take minutes and track action points.
- Liaise with senior management, clients, partners and other key stakeholders.
- Prioritize incoming requests and ensure urgent matters receive appropriate attention.
- Conduct research and provide relevant information to support executive decision-making.
- Coordinate local and international travel, itineraries and related logistics.
- Monitor strategic assignments and follow up with responsible stakeholders.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding executive and business matters.
- Support the CEO on special projects and strategic initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Communications or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience supporting a CEO, Managing Director, Executive Director or other C-suite executive.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong business acumen and executive presence.
- Excellent organizational, planning and prioritization skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google Workspace.
- Strong report writing and presentation preparation skills.
- Excellent judgement, discretion and confidentiality.
- Ability to anticipate executive needs and work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to interact professionally with senior executives and high-level stakeholders.
