Description

• We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Structural Design Engineer to join our Design Team.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for the structural analysis, design, modelling, and technical review of building and infrastructure projects.
• The role will focus on developing safe, efficient, economical, and code-compliant structural solutions from concept through detailed design.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design of reinforced concrete, steel, masonry, and composite structures.
• Design foundations, retaining structures, slabs, beams, columns, structural frames, and other load-bearing systems.
• Prepare structural calculations, design reports, technical specifications, schedules, and engineering documentation.
• Develop and maintain structural models using industry-standard software.
• Review structural drawings, calculations, specifications, and design deliverables for accuracy and completeness.
• Conduct design checks and peer reviews where required.
• Identify and resolve design conflicts and technical inconsistencies.
• Coordinate structural designs with architectural, civil, MEP, and other project requirements.
• Collaborate with Architects, Civil Engineers, MEP Engineers, Quantity Surveyors, Project Managers, and other stakeholders.
• Provide technical support and clarification during project development.
• Respond to structural design-related Requests for Information (RFIs).
• Propose innovative and cost-effective structural solutions without compromising safety or performance.
• Support value engineering and design optimization initiatives.
• Provide technical support to project execution teams regarding structural design intent.
• Review site queries, structural shop drawings, and as-built submissions.
• Conduct periodic site visits for structural inspections and design verification when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Master's Degree in Structural Engineering is an advantage.
• Minimum of 8–10 years' experience in structural design and analysis.
• Proven experience designing building and infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency in ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, STAAD.Pro, AutoCAD, and Revit Structure.
• Knowledge of Eurocodes, British Standards, ACI, AISC, and other relevant codes.
• COREN registration is required or highly desirable.
• NSE membership or other relevant professional certification is an advantage.
