Core Purpose:

  • To deliver efficient, employee-centered, and legally compliant HR support across the full employee lifecycle—from talent acquisition and onboarding to performance management, L&D, payroll support, employee relations, and offboarding.

Key Responsibilities & Deliverables

  • Talent Acquisition & Onboarding: Manage end-to-end recruitment (sourcing, screening, interviewing, offers) and track hiring metrics (time-to-fill, cost-per-hire) while coordinating structured new-hire induction and orientation.
  • HR Administration & Analytics: Maintain accurate, confidential employee records within the HRIS; draft official correspondence; maintain organizational charts; and build periodic HR analytics dashboards (headcount, attrition, leave).
  • Employee Relations & Performance Management: Act as the first point of contact for policy queries, facilitate grievance/disciplinary resolution per Nigerian labor law, and manage performance review cycles, PIPs, and KPI tracking.
  • L&D, Benefits & Payroll Support: Conduct training needs assessments; build annual training calendars; verify monthly payroll inputs (attendance, leave, allowances); and manage HMO and pension enrollments
  • Culture, Systems & DEIB: Drive employee engagement programs, support process automation using digital/AI-powered HR tools, and champion Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB) initiatives.

Candidate Requirements

  • Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Psychology, or related fields (Master’s is an advantage) with 3–5 years of progressive HR generalist experience (tech startup, corporate, or consulting background preferred).
  • Technical Suite: Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), advanced Excel/Google Sheets, Google Workspace, and AI-powered HR productivity tools.
  • Domain Knowledge: Working knowledge of Nigerian labor laws and data protection regulations (NDPR).
  • Certifications (Preferred): CIPM, SHRM-CP/SCP, PHR/SPHR, CIHRM, or CIPD.
  • Core Competencies: High integrity and strict confidentiality, strong emotional intelligence, analytical problem-solving, and excellent cross-functional stakeholder management.
