Job Description

• We seek a creative and enthusiastic Fine Art Teacher to inspire students to explore their artistic talents.
• The successful candidate will develop and implement engaging lesson plans, fostering technical skills and artistic expression.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach various fine art disciplines (drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, etc.).
• Develop and implement curriculum aligned with state and national standards.
• Instruct students in art history, theory, and criticism.
• Encourage experimentation, creativity, and critical thinking.

Classroom Management:

• Maintain a safe, organized, and well-equipped art studio.
• Supervise students during classes, workshops, and projects.
• Manage art supplies, materials, and equipment.

Student Support:

• Provide individualized guidance and feedback.
• Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment.
• Encourage student participation in art exhibitions and competitions.

Assessment and Evaluation:

• Develop and administer assessments to measure student progress.
• Evaluate student artwork, providing constructive feedback.
• Maintain accurate records of student grades and progress.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with diverse artistic mediums and techniques.
• Familiarity with art technology (digital art software, etc.).
• Knowledge of art history, theory, and criticism.
• Experience with art exhibitions, competitions, and festivals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Fine Arts, Art Education, or related field.
