Job Summary

• We are seeking a Senior Agro-Allied Project Lead with strong experience in agribusiness, agro-processing, project execution, business development, and financial analysis.
• The successful candidate will lead agro-allied projects from concept and feasibility through execution and commercialisation, ensuring projects are operationally efficient, financially viable, and commercially sustainable.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and execution of agriculture, agro-processing, and manufacturing projects.
• Develop business cases, feasibility studies, financial models, budgets, and investment proposals.
• Evaluate project profitability, ROI, CAPEX/OPEX, cash flow, and commercial viability.
• Identify new business opportunities, strategic partnerships, investors, offtakers, and funding opportunities.
• Oversee agricultural value chains, sourcing, processing, manufacturing, logistics, and operations.
• Monitor project costs, timelines, risks, performance, and commercial outcomes.
• Develop strategies to improve revenue, margins, productivity, and operational efficiency.
• Manage relationships with investors, government agencies, suppliers, customers, and strategic partners.
• Prepare management reports and provide strategic recommendations for project growth and scale.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Engineering, Finance, Business, Project Management, or related field.
• 6–8 years’ experience in agriculture, agro-processing, manufacturing, project management, business development, or investment.
• Strong experience in financial modelling, feasibility analysis, budgeting, and commercial strategy.
• Understanding of agricultural value chains and agro-processing operations.
• Proven stakeholder management, negotiation, leadership, and business development skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and project management tools.
• PMP, PRINCE2, CFA, ICAN, or relevant professional certification is an advantage.
