Frontend Engineer II

We are looking for

Cavista Technologies is seeking a Frontend Engineer II to build and scale secure reliable and intuitive digital financial this role you will partner with Product Design Backend Engineering and other cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional user experiences while driving frontend architecture and engineering best practices. You will support key initiatives contribute to technical decision-making and help ensure our applications meet the performance scalability and security standards required in the fintech industry.

What will you do

• Design develop and maintain secure scalable and high-performance frontend applications that support digital banking payments lending wealth management and other financial services products.
• Collaborate with product managers UX/UI designers backend engineers and compliance teams to deliver customer-centric financial solutions.
• Develop reusable and maintainable frontend components using modern frameworks such as React Angular or ensuring consistency across products and platforms.
• Build intuitive user interfaces that simplify complex financial transactions account management reporting and payment workflows.
• Integrate frontend systems with APIs payment gateways banking services fraud prevention tools and third-party financial platforms.
• Ensure compliance with financial industry regulations data privacy requirements accessibility standards and security best practices.
• Implement robust authentication authorization and secure session management mechanisms to protect customer and transaction data.
• Optimize application performance responsiveness scalability and reliability across multiple devices and browsers.
• Conduct code reviews and promote engineering best practices coding standards and quality assurance processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to customer transactions account servicing and digital financial products.

Qualifications :

What you bring...

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related technical field.
• 5 years of Fintech Experience
• Frontend Development (React Angular ).
• JavaScript & TypeScript Expertise.
• Financial Systems & FinTech Product Knowledge.
• Secure Application Development.
• Payment Gateway & API Integration.
• Agile Product Development.
• Regulatory & Compliance Awareness.
  

  REGULATORY CONSIDERATIONS

• Implements frontend controls supporting PCI-DSS and secure handling of sensitive input fields.
• Ensures consent flows and data collection UI comply with the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA) 2023.
