We are looking for a highly competent, experienced, and passionate English & Literature Teacher to join our College team.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree in English, Literature, Education, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ teaching experience, preferably in a reputable school.
• Proven experience preparing students for external examinations such as WAEC, NECO, IGCSE, etc.
• Strong command of English Language and Literature.
• Excellent communication, classroom management, and teaching skills.
• Must be confident, resourceful, passionate, and academically strong.
• A proven track record of excellent student performance is highly desirable.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Teach English Language and Literature effectively in line with the school curriculum.
• Prepare students thoroughly for external examinations and drive excellent examination results.
• Develop engaging lesson plans, learning materials, assignments, and assessments.
• Conduct regular tests, revision, and examination preparation sessions.
• Monitor students’ academic progress and provide appropriate support where necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of students’ performance and provide timely feedback.
• Keep up to date with curriculum changes and examination requirements.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and school leadership to support students’ academic success.
• Participate actively in departmental activities, school programmes, and professional development.
