Role Description

• The Nanny & Housekeeper role is a full-time, on-site position based in Abuja. The role involves providing attentive childcare, including supervising daily activities, supporting age-appropriate learning and play, and ensuring the safety and well-being of children. The Nanny & Housekeeper will also handle household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, basic organization, and meal preparation for the family. Responsibilities may include maintaining a clean and orderly home environment, following family routines, and communicating regularly with parents or guardians about the children’s needs and development. The position requires reliability, discretion, and a caring approach to both childcare and household duties.

Qualifications

• Strong childcare skills, including Babysitting and Working With Children, with a genuine interest in supporting children’s well-being.
• Knowledge of Childcare and Early Childhood Development to foster safe, nurturing, and age-appropriate activities.
• Ability to plan and prepare meals, with basic Cooking skills and attention to nutrition and family preferences.
• Experience in housekeeping tasks, including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining an organized home environment.
• Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills when interacting with children and adults.
• Proven reliability, time management, and ability to follow routines and instructions with minimal supervision.
• Relevant training or certification in childcare or caregiving; completion of a recognized nanny or early years program is an advantage.
