Job Description

• Disinfect countertops, workstation frames, and high-touch areas using approved medical-grade disinfectants.
  
• Waste Management: Safely collect and dispose of general, infectious, and biohazard waste (including proper handling of sharps containers).
  
• Floor Care: Sweep, scrub, mop, and polish laboratory, corridor, and restroom floors.
  
• Spill Response: Promptly and safely clean up chemical or biological spills following strict institutional protocols.
  
• Supply Restocking: Replenish soap, paper towels, sanitizer, and other hygiene essentials in restrooms and wash areas.
  
• General Upkeep: Dust fixtures, clean interior glass partitions, and empty trash bins on a regular schedule. [1, 2]
  

Requirements

• Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent education.
  
• Experience: Prior professional cleaning experience; background in a hospital, clinic, or medical laboratory environment is a strong advantage.
  
• Safety Knowledge: Familiarity with infection control, hygiene practices, and proper handling of hazardous cleaning chemicals.
  
• Physical Fitness: Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and lift supplies or equipment for extended shifts.
