Job Description

• The Dispatch Rider will mainly be responsible for the safe, secure, and timely delivery of packages, documents, and goods to various locations across the city.
• You will act as the face of our company to clients, ensuring that every delivery is handled with professionalism and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute Deliveries: Pick up and deliver items to designated locations promptly.
• Route Planning: Map out the most efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries and save fuel.
• Package Care: Ensure all items are securely loaded, transported, and delivered without damage.
• Documentation: Obtain accurate signatures, names, or digital delivery confirmations upon drop-off.
• Bike Maintenance: Conduct daily checks on the motorcycle (oil, brakes, tires) and report any faults immediately.
• Customer Service: Maintain a polite, friendly, and professional attitude with all clients and recipients.

Requirements

• License & Registration: Valid rider's license and up-to-date rider permits.
• Experience: Proven experience working as a Dispatch Rider or courier.
• Navigation Skills: Deep knowledge of Lagosroads, shortcuts, and traffic patterns, with the ability to use GPS maps.
• Communication: Fluent in verbal and written English to interact with customers and log delivery details.
• Physical Fitness: Ability to ride safely in various weather conditions and lift packages up to 15–20kg.
• Traits: High level of integrity, punctuality, and time-management skills.
