Senior People Experience & Culture Business Partner

Key Responsibilities

• People Strategy & Leadership: Partner with the Head of People Experience & Culture and senior leadership to develop and execute people culture and workforce strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Workforce Planning & Organisational Effectiveness: Lead strategic workforce planning future capability planning organisational design operating model reviews succession planning and talent pipeline initiatives for critical roles.
• Performance & Leadership Development: Drive a high-performance culture through effective performance management goal setting feedback leadership development and capability-building initiatives aligned with business priorities.
• Employee Experience & Engagement: Lead initiatives focused on employee engagement retention recognition wellbeing and overall employee experience. Provide senior-level support on complex employee relations matters.
• Culture Change & Transformation: Lead people and culture workstreams for organisational change including restructuring digital transformation and business expansion. Champion initiatives that strengthen organisational values leadership behaviours and modern ways of working.
• HR Technology & Digital Enablement: Drive the adoption and effective use of HR technology digital tools automation and people systems to improve HR processes employee experience and data-driven decision-making.
• Governance Risk & Compliance: Ensure compliance with Nigerian labour laws regulatory requirements and internal people policies while proactively identifying and managing people-related risks.
• People Analytics & Insights: Leverage workforce analytics engagement data and external benchmarks to provide actionable insights and support evidence-based people decisions.
• Stakeholder Management & Team Leadership: Collaborate with HR Centres of Excellence business leaders and external partners to deliver effective people solutions across talent rewards learning and HR systems. Coach and mentor HR team members and act as delegate for the Head of People Experience & Culture when required.

Requirements Education & Professional Credentials

Bachelors degree in related disciplines

A Masters degree is highly desirable

Professional HR certification (e.g. CIPD SHRM HRCI) is a compulsory.

Experience

1012 years of progressive Human Resources experience including at least 35 years in a senior HR Business Partner or managerial role.

Proven track record of partnering with executive and senior leadership to deliver people strategies that drive business performance.

Demonstrated experience managing end-to-end HR processes and people operations across the full employee lifecycle.

Experience leading people programmes in fast-paced dynamic and evolving environments.
