Responsibilities

• Chief Medical Director is the Head/Chief Executive of the institution.
• He is accountable to the Board of Management and the Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare.
• The Chief Medical Director is charged with the responsibility of the execution of policies and matters affecting the day-to-day management of the Hospital.

Requirements
Interested candidates must have the following qualifications:

• Candidate must be a Medical or Dental practitioner registered with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN) with not less than Twelve (12) years post qualification;
• Candidate must possess a current practicing License from MDCN;
• Candidate must be a Fellow of either the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria or West African Postgraduate Medical College, or Equivalent, recognized by the MDCN; 4. Candidate must have been a Consultant for a minimum of Five (5) years;
• Candidate must be Medically fit (Attach evidence); 6. Candidate must be of proven good character and integrity;
• Evidence of Medical Researches is an added advantage;
• Administrative qualification and experience are added advantages;
• Knowledge of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) is an added advantage;
• Attraction of funded grants by individual candidate is an added advantage.

Salary and Allowances

• Salary and allowances will be in accordance with the Public Service Salary Structure for this category of Officer.
