Virtual Pipeline Business Operations Officer

Duties and Responsibilities:

Manages logistics operations while controlling CNG distribution operations and advancing the efficiency of the supply chain.
Coordinates maintenance activities with O&M service providers using CMMS.
Reviews metering reports and recommendations for approval.
Prepares periodic operations reports for the Operations Manager s review: highlight issues and provides suggestions for addressing problems noted/complaints from customers.
Monitoring quality control and keeping customer stock capacity at optimal levels.
Developing and analyzing budget and providing reports to management
Conducts equipment performance analysis of O&M service providers and recommendations as necessary.
Provides necessary assistance and support for other utility maintenance and repair works.
Collates and analyze data for proactive and effective maintenance and planning.
Prepares scope of works for non-routine operational tasks (purchase of new technology)
Continuously research the industry for new technologies towards improving efficiency.
Updates work procedures as necessary and ensures compliance to the Integrated Management Standard.
Ensures HSE guidelines are followed in the use repairs and maintenance of all CNG facilities and installations (including those of Third-Party Suppliers).
Monitor and support the operation and maintenance of Pressure Regulating and Metering Systems (PRMS) ensuring accurate gas pressure regulation metering equipment reliability and compliance with applicable operational and safety standards.
Review and analyse PRMS operational and metering data to identify abnormalities support performance monitoring and ensure accurate reporting of gas volumes and system performance.

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Electrical Chemical Petroleum Engineering or a related engineering discipline with a minimum of Second Class Honours. A Masters degree or relevant professional certifications (e.g. COREN NSE PMP or relevant HSE certifications) will be an added advantage.
• Minimum of five (5) years relevant experience in gas distribution CNG/Virtual Pipeline operations industrial plant operations or maintenance.
• Demonstrated ability to analyse technical and operational data to support preventive maintenance asset performance and operational decision-making.
• Strong troubleshooting and fault-resolution skills with the ability to respond effectively to time-sensitive operational issues
