Social Media Manager (NYSC)

This is a remote position.

StartupHQ is seeking a creative and proactive NYSC Social Media Manager to support the development and management of our digital presence. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating engaging content managing social media platforms identifying trends analyzing performance and supporting the growth of our brand across LinkedIn Instagram TikTok and YouTube.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media Management & Strategy

• Develop and execute social media content plans aligned with the companys brand goals.
  
• Research social media trends and recommend relevant content ideas.
  
• Manage and schedule posts across LinkedIn Instagram TikTok and YouTube.
  
• Monitor social media performance and provide insights for improvement.
  

Content Creation & Video Editing

• Assist with planning and creating short-form video content.
  
• Provide creative direction on video concepts filming approach and content structure.
  
• Edit videos to ensure they are professional engaging and suitable for social media platforms.
  
• Ensure consistency in brand messaging across all platforms.
  

Requirements

Must be a current NYSC corps member.

A Law Graduate or a lawyer interested in corporate communications is an advantage

Strong understanding of social media platforms especially LinkedIn Instagram TikTok and YouTube.

Experience with video editing tools such as CapCut or similar platforms.

Good understanding of social media trends and content performance.

Strong communication creativity and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and contribute ideas.

Must have a working laptop.

Must have a working Laptop Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in administration client relations legal services compliance or business consulting. Basic familiarity with regulatory compliance processes. Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
