Procurement Manager (Medical Imports)

• Supplier Qualification: Identify evaluate and qualify manufacturers for both product portfolios prioritizing suppliers with SRA approvals or valid NAFDAC GMP certificates to avoid inspection delays.
• White-Label Programme: Identify and negotiate with manufacturers for white-label products working closely with Legal to ensure manufacturing and supply agreements meet NAFDAC marketing authorization requirements.
• Manufacturer Documentation: Coordinate the timely commissioning of manufacturer documents including Powers of Attorney CFS CPP and cGMP certificates in line with SKU dossier timelines and regulatory requirements.
• Product Samples: Coordinate the procurement and shipment of product samples for NAFDAC laboratory testing for each SKU.
• Commercial Negotiations: Negotiate competitive pricing minimum order quantities lead times and payment terms aligned with landed-cost models and projected launch volumes.
• First Consignments: Prepare purchase orders and coordinate first consignments for immediate shipment upon registration approval using air freight where necessary to meet market launch timelines.
• Import Readiness: Coordinate Form M PAAR and clearing agent requirements while providing accurate landed-cost inputs to the Financial Analyst.

• Degree in supply chain business pharmacy engineering or a related field.
• Procurement certification (CIPS or equivalent) is an advantage.
• Strong commercial negotiation skills with a focus on quality and compliance.
• Excellent deadline-driven planning and supplier lead-time management.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration across Regulatory Finance and Logistics.
