Responsibilities:

• Accurately process customer payments using POS systems and cash handling procedures.
  
• Reconcile daily sales reports with cash and electronic transaction records.
  
• Maintain detailed and up-to-date bookkeeping records for all transactions.
  
• Assist in monitoring inventory levels by reporting discrepancies and supporting stock audits.
  
• Provide excellent customer service during checkout including handling inquiries complaints and special requests.
  
• Promote menu items and special offers to enhance sales and support marketing initiatives.
  
• Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations at all times.
  
• Collaborate with the management team to prepare daily weekly and monthly financial summaries.
  
• Support cash control procedures including timely deposits and secure handling of funds.

Requirements

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a cashier or front-of-house role within the restaurant or hospitality industry.
  
• Proficiency in accounting applications (e.g. QuickBooks Xero or similar) and POS systems.
  
• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles including daily reconciliation and financial record-keeping.
  
• Demonstrated ability in sales and marketing activities such as upselling promoting loyalty programs and driving repeat business.
  
• High level of accuracy integrity and attention to detail in financial tasks.
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a professional demeanor.
  
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced high-volume environment.
