Non-Financial Risk Manager, Business & Commercial Banking

Implementation validation and monitoring of non-financial risk management processes within the Business and Commercial Banking (BCB) business.

• Continuously improving the operational risk processes with the intention of adding value to the BCB business whilst introducing practices that are fit for purposes in line with leading global practices
• Provide oversight on key functional areas within the business to proactively manage the risk protect the business and enable robust business performance
• Ensure that the business management is fully appraised of the operational risk status
• Provide operational risk tools training support to the business
• Validate reported operational incidents and exceptions perform root-cause analyses and identify potential opportunities for improvements to upstream processes/systems.
• Provide adequate operational risk review and evaluation of new product releases and emerging risks due changes to products and service offerings within the business.
• Ensure that Business and Commercial Banking operational risk deliverables and strategies are met
• Perform sample-based back-testing analysis on specific operationally vulnerable areas to pre-empt the development of standards procedures and process maps where operational gaps exist across businesses

Qualifications :

• BSc in Business Commerce Risk Management or related field.

Experience

• 2-4years basic understanding of BCB business risk analysis & reporting good understanding of banking operations and the ability to identify risks partner with business to act as a trusted adviser
