Business Development Manager

Job Purpose

The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving business growth by identifying new market opportunities acquiring clients building strategic partnerships and expanding the Companys portfolio of services. The role requires developing and implementing business development strategies that enhance revenue strengthen client relationships and support the achievement of organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Identify develop and pursue new business opportunities across target industries.

Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.

Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.

Prepare and deliver compelling business proposals presentations and service pitches.

Lead negotiations and facilitate the successful closure of business deals.

Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging opportunities.

Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored solutions that meet client needs.

Monitor industry trends and recommend strategies to improve market competitiveness.

Prepare periodic business development reports sales forecasts and pipeline updates.

Represent the Company at meetings networking events exhibitions and industry engagements.

Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and promote long-term business relationships.

Requirements

A Bachelors Degree in Engineering Sciences Marketing or a related discipline.

Minimum of 35 years of proven experience in Business Development Sales Marketing or Client Relationship Management.

Strong communication negotiation and presentation skills.

Excellent relationship management and networking abilities.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Experience within the consulting engineering facility management HVAC services training outsourcing or corporate services sector is an added advantage.

Required Skills:

Qualifications Bachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing or related fields Minimum of 1 year of experience in sales and marketing or related fields Experience in market research and analysis and the ability to interpret complex data Excellent communication presentation and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with clients and colleagues at all levels Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and deliver on time and within budget Knowledge and experience in digital marketing strategies SEO and social media management and advertising Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment Strong analytical skills and an innovative approach to problem-solving
