HR Manager

Job Title: HR Manager(Asaba) Sector: FMCG Location: Asaba, Delta State Employment Type: Full-Time | Onsite Job Summary Our client, a reputable FMCG/ Manufacturing company, is seeking to hire an experienced HR Manager to lead and manage all human resource functions while supporting business objectives. The ideal candidate will have proven experience within a manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of workforce planning, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and HR operations. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with organizational goals. Oversee end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and talent management processes. Manage employee relations, disciplinary matters, grievance handling, and conflict resolution. Drive performance management, learning and development, succession planning, and employee engagement initiatives. Ensure compliance with Nigerian labour laws, company policies, and statutory regulations. Partner with department heads to support manpower planning and organizational development. Oversee payroll inputs, leave administration, HR records, and other HR operational activities. Prepare HR reports, analyze workforce metrics, and provide recommendations to management. Foster a positive workplace culture while promoting health, safety, and employee well-being. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or a related discipline. Minimum of 7–10 years' HR experience , with at least 5 years in a managerial role within a manufacturing company . Strong knowledge of Nigerian labor laws, HR best practices, and performance management. Experience managing large operational or factory-based workforces. Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and conflict resolution skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS/payroll systems. CIPM, SHRM, HRCI, or other relevant HR certification is an added advantage.
