Salary: 1,000,000 - 1,500,000 (monthly net)

Our client is specialized in providing consulting services, strategic and technical advice to management and also assists management in implementing their decisions in accordance with financial projections towards efficient Accounting and Audit Management, Financial Planning, Financial Investigation, Tax Management, Financial Services, Auditing and Assurance, Tax Compliance, Debt Recovery and Management Consulting.

Job Description

The ideal candidate must have a clear understanding of tax laws, appreciable knowledge and hands-on experience covering all areas of taxation. Experience providing strategic tax planning and advisory services to clients, and a proven track record of managing multiple engagements simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing tax advisory and compliance services to clients on all tax returns.

• Develop and implement effective tax strategies to optimize company tax positions.

• Overseeing and supervision of tax team on preparation of computations, returns, related filings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Nigerian tax laws and adherence to quality standards.

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Senior Associates and Associates, providing coaching, feedback, and on-the-job training.

• Contribute to business development activities, including preparing proposals, participating in client presentations, and identifying new service opportunities.

• Participate in the development and delivery of internal training sessions and knowledge-sharing forums.

• Bachelor’s degree/HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Minimum of 5-8+ years' experience in tax, 2-3 of which must be in a senior position.

• Professional certification (ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) is mandatory.

• Ability to manage information flow and dissemination on a need-to-know basis.

• Associate membership of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN).

• Excellent analytical, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
