Position: Warehouse & Inventory Manager
Location: Lagos / Mowe (Multi-Plant)
Reports to: Head – Supply Chain Operations & Assembly
Role Summary:
The Warehouse & Inventory Manager is responsible for leading end-to-end warehouse operations, inventory control, and dispatch activities across multiple plant locations. The role ensures accurate inventory management, efficient warehouse operations, timely dispatch of goods, ERP compliance, and adherence to safety and quality standards. Working closely with Production, Procurement, Planning, Sales, and Logistics teams, the incumbent will drive operational efficiency, maintain inventory accuracy, optimize warehouse resources, and ensure seamless inbound and outbound material movement.
Key Requirements:
Warehouse Operations
- Manage warehouse operations for Raw Materials (RM), Packaging Materials (PM), and Finished Goods (FG).
- Ensure proper storage, stock rotation (FIFO/FEFO), inventory accuracy, and warehouse organization.
- Optimize warehouse space while maintaining safety and housekeeping standards.
Inventory Management
- Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, stock audits, and reconciliations.
- Ensure timely and accurate recording of inventory transactions in the ERP system.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and monitor stock levels.
Dispatch & Logistics
- Oversee daily dispatch operations to ensure timely loading and delivery of goods.
- Ensure accurate preparation of dispatch documents, including delivery notes, waybills, and gate passes.
- Monitor dispatch performance and loading efficiency.
ERP & Process Compliance
- Ensure accurate processing of goods receipts, issues, transfers, and inventory adjustments in ERP.
- Maintain data integrity and compliance with inventory control procedures.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Coordinate with Production, Procurement, Planning, Sales, and Logistics teams to ensure smooth material flow.
- Communicate inventory risks and operational issues to management.
Compliance & Continuous Improvement
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and warehouse standards, including ISO requirements.
- Support internal and external audits and implement corrective actions.
- Drive process improvements to enhance warehouse efficiency, inventory accuracy, and team performance.
Desired Candidate: - Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5-8 years of experience in warehouse, inventory, or supply chain operations within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience managing multi-location warehouses and inventory operations.
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems, warehouse management systems, and inventory control processes.
- Experience in FMCG, Food Processing, Packaging, Chemicals, Pharmaceuticals, Manufacturing, or Industrial Products will be preferred.
