Reports To: General Manager - IT Infrastructure and Cloud Engineering Division: Information Technology Mission:
Lead MTN Cloud and Colocation as business-enabled infrastructure platforms by owning MTN Cloud platform architecture, service and product enablement, colocation governance, and the FinOps framework across the full Infrastructure and Cloud division.
Description:
Own MTN Cloud platform architecture, service architecture, product model, and maturity roadmap.
Define and maintain MTN Cloud service catalogue, tenancy model, SLA framework, and service-enablement controls.
Own colocation governance, principles, onboarding model, monitoring model requirements, and service-readiness standards.
Establish platform metrics, reporting, transparency, and control mechanisms required to support internal and external service enablement.
Drive infrastructure-as-a-business practices across the division.
Work with Enterprise Business and internal stakeholders to ensure the necessary service, reporting, and control mechanisms are in place.
Collaborate with Planning & Cloud on enterprise architecture alignment and with Infrastructure Support on supportability and service commitments.
Lead vendor and partner engagement where MTN Cloud maturity, service enablement, telemetry, reporting, or FinOps capability is required.
Represent MTN Cloud and colocation service interests in governance forums, operating reviews, and strategic discussions.
Education:
First degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Finance, or a related discipline.
Professional certifications in Cloud, FinOps, ITIL, Product Management, or related areas are advantageous.
Fluent in English.
Experience: 9 - 17 years’ experience which includes:
Minimum of 10 years’ experience in cloud platforms, infrastructure services, service enablement, platform engineering, or related domains.
At least 5 years in a leadership role with responsibility for cloud services, platform maturity, service design, or cost management.
Experience with cloud platform architecture, service catalogue development, tenancy or service models, and cross-functional stakeholder coordination.
Demonstrated experience in FinOps, service reporting, cost transparency, or infrastructure commercial enablement.
Experience working in a medium to large organization with vendor and stakeholder complexity.
Strong understanding of sovereign cloud, service readiness, colocation governance, and infrastructure-as-a-business principles.
