The firm plays a leading role in providing management consulting services targeted at clients in key sectors of the economy (Power, Oil & Gas, Financial Services and Manufacturing, etc) in Africa. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES The Accounting officer will be assigned the following primary responsibilities, among others: Daily Entries: Process and post daily financial transactions, including invoices, payments, and journal entries. Accounting Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing financial reports, reconciliations, and analysis. Data Entry: Enter financial data into accounting systems accurately and efficiently. Compliance: Ensure adherence to financial policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements REQUIREMENTS National Diploma in Accounting or Accounting Technician qualification (e.g., ICAN, AAT). 1-2 years of experience in accounting or related fields. Basic computer skills, including proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Microsoft Dynamics).Excellent analytical and numerical skills Skills: - Attention to detail and accuracy. - Basic accounting knowledge and understanding of financial principles. - Good communication and organizational skills.
