(Deployment to the nearest bank branch)


As a SeedForce Captain (Business Development Officer), you will drive recruitment, savings growth, and community engagement across your assigned location. This role focuses on building and managing active community networks, onboarding saving members, and ensuring compliance with cooperative standards while supporting financial inclusion within the informal sector.

  • You have strong integrity, communication, and leadership skills
  • You’re comfortable working with reporting tools and basic digital platforms


Your responsibilities:

  • You will recruit a minimum of 10 active networks and onboard saving members
  • You will supervise field leads and monitor weekly performance
  • You will drive savings growth and portfolio expansion within your territory
  • You will conduct compliance checks and verify member records and remittances
  • You will resolve member complaints and escalate critical issues promptly
  • You will prepare weekly reports on recruitment, savings, compliance, and loan performance
  • You will support onboarding and training for new members and recruits
  • You will expand SeedForce presence through community engagement and network growth


To be considered, you should have

  • Minimum of OND qualification
  • At least 1 year experience in field operations, microfinance, cooperative systems, FMCG distribution, or collections management
  • Strong understanding of informal financial systems (Ajo/Esusu)
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, including fluency in Pidgin English
  • Ability to manage targets, reporting, and community relationships effectively
  • Basic smartphone and digital reporting proficiency

  • Achieving monthly savings targets and portfolio growth
  • Maintaining strong compliance and audit standards
  • Driving active member participation and loan repayment performance
  • Building trusted community relationships within assigned territories
