1.
Drive safe and efficient field operations by supervising daily production activities across wells, flow lines, pumps, manifolds, and surface facilities to ensure operational stability and uptime.
2. Support the
achievement of daily, weekly, and monthly production targets by monitoring performance, identifying variances, and implementing timely corrective actions.
3.
Coordinate field operators, technicians, contractors, and service providers to deliver assigned work safely, efficiently, and in line with approved plans and operational standards.
4. Enforce
strict compliance with BAP Energy’s HSSE policies, permit-to-work systems, toolbox talks, job hazard analysis, and safe work practices across all field activities.
5.
Ensure accurate measurement, reconciliation, and timely reporting of production volumes, downtime, equipment status, and operational incidents to support data-driven decision-making.
6. Monitor the
integrity and performance of wells and production equipment, promptly identifying abnormalities and escalating issues to prevent production losses.
7. Collaborate with
maintenance and engineering teams to plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities with minimal disruption to operations.
8.
Support safe shutdowns, start-ups, commissioning, and facility modifications in line with operational procedures and under the guidance of the Production Operations Manager.
9. Provide first-line troubleshooting for production issues, escalate complex technical challenges, and support root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions.
10. Oversee contractor and vendor activities to ensure adherence to scope, safety standards, quality requirements, and company procedures.
11. Build team capability by coaching and mentoring operators and junior personnel to strengthen technical competence, safety culture, and accountability.
12. Support emergency response and incident management processes, including reporting, evacuation, and spill response, ensuring readiness at all times.
Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in engineering (preferably Petroleum, Chemical or mechanical);
· Strong expertise in production operations, project management and Well test operations
- Good working knowledge of oil and gas production processes, well operations, surface facilities, flow assurance, field reporting, HSSE procedures, and basic maintenance coordination.
- Minimum of 10 years of upstream oil and gas experience, preferably with field exposure in well operations, surface facilities, flow stations, pipelines, marginal field operations, or heavy crude production environment.
