This project involves scale-up of family planning services in 400 – 500 public health facilities in all LGAs in each state through provision of technical assistance to the Government on capacity building, state-wide demand generation, service provision, SSVs, data management and reporting.
Summary of the Service Delivery Manager activities include:
• National-level implementation planning and execution of DISC and RMNCAEH+H service delivery in all supported States in coordination with FMoHSW Family Health Dept, Nursing Division, NPHCDA SRH Dept., State Service Delivery Advisors/ QFP, and other teams
• Provision of TA on Family planning and RMNCAEH+H to the National and State Health teams, RMNCAEH+N Stakeholders, Partners, and including the Private Sector
• He/She will execute and recommend strategies to improve and ensure quality at State and LGA team/ facility/ providers on staff technical competence, client safety, respect & Dignity, continuity of care, information exchange/choice, and regulatory compliance for all SRH services.
• Quality of Care: Achieve ≥90% QoC compliance across facilities through mentorship, supervision, and CQI.
• The incumbent will work with national, sub-national, partners, and project teams on all supply related issues maintaining <5% commodity stock-outs and ensure routine data use for decision-making.
• Ensure at least 50-60% method continuation amongst program beneficiaries
• Engage actively with National RH/RMNCAH TWG and LMCU for integration, and all year-round product availability in supported States • Drive the integration of service delivery HIP solutions into National, and sub-national systems
Requirements
- Must possess a medical/clinical related degree like BSc Nursing/ BSc BSc Nursing/ BSc Midwifery, MBBS, and any related clinical degree
- Post-Graduate qualification in MPH, Health Administration, Project management, Social Work is a plus.
- 10 years of experience in project implementation in the health sector with interest in Family planning and sexual and reproductive health
- Technical expertise and functional knowledge in SRH, Maternal Health, Cervical cancer, HIV, Malaria, Child Health, and Adolescent Health
- Demonstrated ability through previous experience to establish and maintain productive working relationships with a wide network of staff, teams, partners and stakeholders
- Experience working in a fast-paced work environment with self-drive, initiative, and minimal supervision.
- Experience in Service delivery, formative research and community engagement strategy
- Previous experience working with NGOs
Technical:
• Extensive knowledge of the health service standards in the SRH sector.
