Branch Finance Controller

• Oversee daily sales reconciliation and cash/banking procedures for the branch.
  
• Monitor branch expenses against budget and investigate variances.
  
• Conduct spot checks on stocks and ensure adherence to financial policies.
  
• Support internal and external audit processes by providing required documentation.
  
• Verify the accuracy of invoices and payment vouchers.
  
• Ensure timely remittance of daily sales proceeds to the bank.
  
• Monitor the use of Point of Sale (POS) terminals and resolve transaction disputes.
  
• Review and approve staff expenses claims for the branch.
  
• Train branch staff on basic financial compliance and fraud prevention.
  
• Prepare monthly branch performance reports for Head Office.
  

Requirements

• B.Sc. or HND in Accounting, Finance, or Banking & Finance. Professional certification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) is highly desirable.
  
• Minimum 4 years in retail finance or branch accounting.
  
• Industry Background: Retail, Banking (Branch Operations), or Audit firms.
  
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles (IFRS).
  
• Internal control and compliance.
  
• Cash management and reconciliation.
  
• Integrity and high ethical standards.
  
• Attention to detail.
  
• Proficiency in accounting software.
  
• Problem-solving and analytical skills.
