Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport cleaning staff, equipment, and supplies to client sites and back to base.
• Ensure timely arrival at job sites in line with scheduled cleaning contracts.
• Maintain cleanliness and roadworthiness of assigned company vehicle.
• Conduct routine checks (oil, water, brakes, tires, fuel) and report mechanical issues promptly.
• Keep accurate mileage, fuel consumption, and trip records.
• Adhere strictly to traffic laws, company driving policies, and safety standards.
• Assist with loading/unloading cleaning materials and equipment.
• Support the logistics team in dispatching urgent supplies or documents.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when transporting staff or sensitive materials.
• Liaise with the Operations Manager on route planning, time management, and vehicle scheduling.

Core Competencies

• Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and defensive driving techniques.
• Familiarity with Lagos and Abeokuta routes (or operational city routes).
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with staff and clients.
• Reliability, punctuality, and a high sense of responsibility.
• Basic mechanical knowledge for minor troubleshooting.
• Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, or public holidays when required.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum of SSCE (Senior Secondary Certificate Examination).
• Valid driver’s license (Class appropriate for company vehicle).
• Minimum of 3–5 years’ professional driving experience, preferably in the corporate or service industry.
• Clean driving record with no major traffic violations.
• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and basic repairs.
• Ability to read and write for recordkeeping and communication.
• Physical fitness to assist with equipment handling.
