Job Title : Plant Operations & Maintenance Manager (Construction Industry)

Location : Ikeja GRA, Lagos

Salary : ₦500,000–₦600,000

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage day-to-day plant operations and ensure efficient use of all equipment.

2. Track equipment performance, productivity, and service life to optimize output.

3. Oversee installation, servicing, repairs, and replacement of equipment.

4. Monitor equipment condition, troubleshoot issues, and implement preventive maintenance plans.

5. Maintain accurate documentation of service hours, repairs, and certifications.

6. Execute preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime and reduce costs.

7. Enforce strict adherence to safety procedures and PPE requirements.

8. Ensure proper cleaning, storage, and handling of equipment.

9. Lead troubleshooting efforts and ensure timely resolution of technical problems.

10. Work closely with site engineers and project teams to support plant operations.

11. Supervise and guide technical staff to ensure high performance and operational reliability.

12. Collaborate with other departments to improve workflow and reduce resource waste.

Requirements

1. BSc / MSc in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.

2. Strong knowledge of construction equipment maintenance and plant operations.

3. Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in plant operations or construction.

4. Experience with field engineering layout is an added advantage.
