Job descriptionWe are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant with a strong background in FMCG and manufacturing operations to manage financial records, ensure cost control, and support accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in factory or production environments. Maintain accurate financial records for manufacturing and FMCG operations. Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports. Monitor production costs, inventory, and cost of goods sold (COGS). Manage accounts payable and receivable functions. Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Ensure compliance with statutory and tax requirements (VAT, WHT, PAYE). Reconcile bank statements, inventory, and general ledger accounts. Support internal and external audits. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum of 2 years' accounting experience in FMCG and / or manufacturing companies. Strong knowledge of cost accounting and inventory management. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Good analytical, communication, and reporting skills. ICAN or ACCA certification (or in progress) is an advantage. Experience working in a factory or production-based environment.
