Farm Operations Manager

Responsibilities :

• Plan and coordinate the daily activities of the farm including feeding schedules cleaning and maintenance.
• Oversee and manage all aspects of poultry production including breeding and management of layer flocks.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to optimize farm efficiency and biosecurity.
• Hire train and supervise farm workers ensuring they follow all farm protocols and safety procedures.
• Oversee the care and management of poultry including feeding watering monitoring birds health and addressing any potential disease outbreaks or biosecurity risks.
• Monitor the growth rates feed conversion ratios and overall health of the flock.
• Ensure proper vaccination and medication schedules are followed.
• Hire train and supervise farm workers ensuring they follow all farm protocols and safety procedures.
• Develop work schedules assign tasks and monitor the performance of farm staff.
• Conduct regular team meetings to address issues provide training and ensure effective communication.
• Analyze production costs and implement strategies to improve efficiency and profitability.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits of farm facilities equipment and processes to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
